The Garment Technician will be responsible for the quality, fit, workmanship, and compliance of clothes in Leichardt Support Centre.

Key facets of your role include…

  • Create seasonal fashion criteria
  • Conduct fit sessions with buyers and provide suppliers with fit feedback (both local and overseas).
  • Inform vendors of any additional testing or ticketing specifications.
  • Manage the process of fabric testing in accordance with the Company Manual and set standards.
  • Communicate with factories and suppliers on approvals, quality, and manufacturing issues.
  • Manage quality outputs in accordance with Company requirements.
  • Perform random store inspections and prepare internal and vendor reports.
  • Manage and maintain the specification library.
  • Participate in team meetings about particular QA topics
  • Manage compliance issues (such as children’s clothing laws).
  • Manage all client concerns on behalf of your department.

About you…

  • At least five years’ experience as a garment tech/QA in the business; bra and underwear experience is highly valued.
