Admin Assistant

Administrative Assistant Assistant Buyer

What will you be doing:

Spend your days analyzing trends, developing new items, and guaranteeing that when a consumer requires our product, it is readily available. You will work directly with the brands you love to maintain City Beach at the forefront of women’s fashion by shopping new season looks and use your understanding of customer behavior and projections to get these products to our stores.

As an Admin Assistant, you will be responsible for everything from data entry, filing, and general administration work to processing purchase orders, tracking and reporting in Excel, and dealing with suppliers and other external stakeholders, as well as aiding the Buying Team with daily responsibilities.

Our Assistant Buyers work closely with their Buyer to track the sales of your items, allocate product inventory based on performance and demand from our stores, and plan appointments for buyers, such as range presentations and supplier meetings. They produce predictions for new goods and product lines, establish supplier partnerships, and maintain these ties throughout the product development process.

A Buyer in the Women’s team is responsible for sourcing products from local and international suppliers, forging strong relationships with suppliers through frequent travel and contact, analyzing products to measure performance and guide future decision making, monitoring department and store comparisons, and mentoring and developing their Assistant Buyers into future business leaders.
